Hoopfest - First Time

A couple of Matt's hockey buddies asked him to play on their Hoopfest team. It was fun and a great learning experience for a non-basketball family. Hoopfest is the largest 3 on 3 street basketball tourney in the world. Over 250,000 players hit the Spokane streets the last weekend of June. It sure was fun. Thunder storms on Saturday. Searing heat on Sunday. The Bank Shot Boys came in 4th out of their bracket of 16 teams. Nice work!

Fun photos of Kyra and her friend Kallie playing with some day lillies.

Huddling with the coach.

Coach Brian giving tips.

Matt steals the ball and has to go to the line to clear it before the team can take a shot.

So hot it was time for a snow cone.

Matthew playing defense. This blue team they are playing won the bracket.

Soccer Tots

When Matt was 4.5-ish - he played soccer tots....so of course, Kyra wants the same. She's joined the team with two other buddies and every Monday evening they get to play. She loves soccer tots and scoring goals.

She spends the entire 45 minutes with a huge smile on her face!

Sometimes it's easier to pick the ball up and run!

Practice, practice, practice.

All smiles.

Having fun with coach.

Running fast.
