Big River

The Spokane River has lots of water running through it. Flooding areas, like the Centennial Trail. We rode the gondola over the river last weekend to check out the lower waterfall!

We're over the river in this photo. Lots of water!

After the gondola ride, we hiked down to the Washington Water Power old viewing area. Matthew's checking out the waterfall, just underneath the Monroe Street bridge.

Again, under the Monroe Street bridge by the waterfall. Pretty amazing all of the spray generated from a flooding river!

Now up at the upper waterfall by the old YMCA. The family on the suspension bridge over the Spokane River.

Running across the suspension bridge - the river is so full it's like it's raining on the bridge from all of the spray from the waterfall.

Matthew is soaked!

See the construction area on the right - that's where the old YMCA used to be.

Kyra's all wet!

Another Hair Cut

Kyra is no body and all hair. She has to go get her haircut every few months - which is unusual for a 2 year old. We chopped about 3 inches off. Here's a before and after.

Spring Flowers

Every spring I try to get photos of the kids with the tulips. This was a rainy, gloomy spring, and the blooms didn't last too long. Will have to get photos with the iris's if they ever blue. Usually the iris's bloom around our wedding anniversary, May 15 - but not this year. It's June 1 and only a few have bloomed. Cold, cold spring....
