Symphony

The kids and Margee had a symphony date one January Sunday afternoon. Everyone had their "hansome clothes" on. Then out to dinner for sushi! Mmmmmmm.

MLK Assembly

The second graders put on a neat MLK Day assembly for the school. They sang several songs and the read powerful statements. Matthew read a quote by MLK, "Hate cannot drive out hate, only love can!"

Winter swim lessons

It's that time of year for swim lessons. Kids love the pool.

Ballet

Kyra got tired of tumbling at The Y, so we signed up for their beginning ballet program. Kyra is having fun, and it's a way to keep her active.

 

Marty's Visit

After our quick trip to Creston - then Marty, his wife Xuan and their baby Lincoln came for a visit.

Hockey in Creston

It was a busy Xmas break. After getting back from Wenatchee, we packed and left for a hockey trip to Creston. But first had Margee's cousins Grace and Katie for dinner.

Xmas in Wenatchee

Barb and Martin rented a cabin in Wenatchee for Xmas. It was a blast. Awesome meals by Aunt Becky, snow shoeing, XC skiing, downhill skiing, hot tubing and lots of snow!

Kyra gave up on XC skiing, and hiked with Grampy and Grammy instead - eating snow ice cream the entire time.

Kyra and Matt had their first chance to downhill ski - and loved it. The kids were skiing with us in the morning, then had a class in the afternoon. Here's Kyra skiing with Curt.

While the kids were in class, Margee, Curt, Becky and Grammy went exploring the fun runs at Mission Ridge.

Fun with Dad Downtown

 While Matt was at a play date, Curt took Kyra downtown for some Xmas festivities while I packed and wrapped presents for our Xmas vacation in Wenatchee.
