A girl and her dog

Kyra loves Ginger. Last night she asked me to take a photo of them because they are sooooo cute!

Ginger wasn't too in to having her picture taken.

St Paddy's Day Science

We decided to conduct a very important science experiment in honor of St. Paddy's Day.

We bought white carnations and put them in green water.

Our hypothesis was that the small carnations would turn green faster than the large flowers.

We proved our hypothesis wrong - the small version of the flowers didn't turn green at all. But, the big carnations did!

Here's a photo of the beginning of our experiment. Unfortunately, I didn't take a picture of the end product.

Ballerina

Kyra's still having fun dancing.

MSC Rocks!

We finally have our very own science center in Spokane - Mobius Science Center. It's super fun!
We've been taking friend on play dates.

Matt and Sam biting a metal bar that has sound waves running through it. The waves vibrate the bones in your inner ear, and you can hear the music.

Kyra and Curt launching a water rocket.

Kyra listening to music.

Playing at the hydro power display.

Matt launching blasts of air to turn pin wheels.

Holmes Hero

Matt's teacher nominated him for Holmes Hero because he's a pillar in the school community (respectful, caring, etc.) Way to go!
