We were at a friends house for a BBQ last weekend. They had 4 chickens and Kyra had a great time chasing them. They also had cool things like a gigantic basalt bolder and a tire swing in their backyard. It was a kids paradise!

As a special treat, Margee and Matthew got to go to the matinee of Star Wars in Concert, when it came to Spokane last weekend. IT WAS AWESOME! The music was amazing and in the concorse at the arena they had all kids of Star Wars items on display.

Mmmmmm...dirt

Kyra was in the backyard digging holes in the ground with Denali. Unfortunately we didn't get a picture of that. But we got a photo of after she deciding digging was fun, but eating dirt would be way better! Unfortunately, the photo doesn't do her dirty face justice - she was filthy.

Marmot March

The day before Bloomsday, there is a 1 mile race for kiddos in second grade and younger. Matt has run this the past 3 years. We think he ran the course in about 8 minutes, leaping over the traffic cones lining the course. do we have a future hurdler in the family? Here he is after the race and face painting. He's a cheetah, of course!

Bloomsday 2010

Margee ran, then met up with Curt and the kiddos to walk the course. Next year, Matthew would like to run/walk the race. That will be fun!

Bigger, bigger, bigger

Our little girl is getting bigger. Kyra just had her 15-month well child visit - here are the stats:

19#3oz, 29.75" long. So, she's petite. But, firecrackers come in small packages, because boy is she fiesty.
